I have been serving with Union County Young Life for over 5 years and it has been one of the greatest decisions of my life. Not only have I gotten to see God transform the lives of teens in our valley, I have also seen Him transform my own life and heart to be more like Him.

Fun Fact: I love to spend movie night with my family. My daughter Rylie picks a movie, we eat popcorn and snuggle in just the three of us!
I love being a young life leader because my hope and love is in Jesus and I get to share and give that same hope and love to kids who know nothing about Jesus or have rejected Him. Being a leader has humbled me. Hanging out with these friends has shown me to how be grateful for the things I have, love unconditionally and be the best me that I can be.

I'm pretty lucky to serve these kids as a leader. I was involved with Young Life since I was a freshman, and had some pretty amazing leaders! I love that I can share with the students and give them hope that there is light in every dark situation! Young Life has changed my life and now I get to make a difference! My favorite quote is "be someone you needed when you were younger". I get to do that while sharing the love of Jesus!

I like being a Young Life leader because it gives me the opportunity to be a part of kids lives in some of the roughest times. I remember when someone came into my life in high school and showed me the truth about Jesus, and it turned my life around. I want to be the one to do that for someone else. I can relate to a lot of different situations kids may be going through in their home lives or school, making it easier to understand them well.
